About Adrestine Veil

Adrestine Veil is a name that revealed itself to me over time. It wasn't created from the idea that I wanted a stage name, but rather an organic construction of my own being.

I often found myself struggling with an internal duality between what was expected of me and who I truly am.

Adrestine appeared as a kind of presence, first in dreams, then in my writing, then as one of the voices in my head, and little by little, it transformed into an identity that is not only artistic but also spiritual.

The name Adrestine represents destiny, and Veil represents a veil, not of concealment, but of depth.

In my life, it's as if there were a reality beyond what is seen, and Adrestine, along with her art, attempts to pierce that veil, the veil of destiny, to connect with my emotions, my inner worlds, and everything that the rational mind cannot explain.

For me, making art/music isn't just about singing, composing, writing or sewing, but about opening portals to places that have no name, but that we've all felt at some point.

My story, like that of many, hasn't been easy.

I've been through situations that have pushed me to the limit, and it was in those dark moments that Adrestine appeared most clearly, like a saviour, who taught me to be a spectator in the situations of my own life, like a witness, like the part of me that doesn't let itself be broken and always seeks a way out from the spectator's point of view.

I believe in myself as a strong, but also sensitive, knowing what means to be on the edge, and from there, learn that one can build with unique beauty.

Adrestine Veil isn't a mask, it's a revelation. It's the voice of what I didn't dare to say for a long time. It's my way of saying that I'm still here, that I'm alive, and that I have something to give.

It doesn't matter where you come from or what you've been through; If anything I do touches you, then we've already crossed the veil together.
